Finally I got in as I did not check my spam folder for a quite while now, then password?
Anyway, here I am. I wish to make a few comments here about few things that are being discussed over VLOG’s. Really, I do not feel very comfortable with adding so much more to By-Laws. It has been too much and confusing, making anglers more less moviated to particpate. I think we should be focused on shorten that down to one or two pages.
About “short bass”, I always ask or check what kind of measurement tool that the tournament staffs use, then use silmar one or keeping ones that are half inch over. I somewhat agree with Fishead’s comment that if we break DFG’s rules, we should be disqualifed for that day.
About “dead basses”, well, I have fished with different anglers. I have seen many anglers who would NOT try to keep their catch alive. They would simply throw them in live well. While I would try every effort to keep them alive as they are my babies. I have been fishing in hearing tournaments and they do NOT count dead basses, period.
One thing I need to bring out in open is…..I am VERY disappointed about CODA issues that two years ago we agreed that the board would ‘rewrite’ the propsal, but I just heard that it was simply throw away, without asking us. I know this is very touching issue that we have been back and forth for years and years. We do need o get this rolling on in the right direction AND that the COR, board members, and officers are being kept informed.
