Thanks for the report. Actually as of right now it is 4.6 ft. above summer pool after 9.5 feet above. Things will be OK within a week from today. Similar case happened in May 2003 at KY/Barkley and it took 2 weeks to go back to summer pool. I’m sure the turn out will good. Looking forward to it!
Just a head up, if I may add…I read that there are a few missing channel markers due to the flood..so if any of you guys have a GPS unit it would be easier to navigate on the main channel because there are lots and lots of 6 ft. deep off the main channel so please be cautious. So everyone return to the ramp safe and sound.
Yes.. correct.. as right now lake level is 361.4.. The TVA report that the channel bouys were broken so be caution to drive your boat. Last weekend the tournaments were excellent catching. 1st place 5 bass weight was 23 lbs 4 oz and another tournament college team winner – their 6 bass – 24 lbs 3 oz. Go figure out yourself.
360.03 above summer pool now and things are looking up our way! Bacon is right on 1st place last week with 5 bass weighed 23.04 lbs BUT that was just ONE day! He caught 70.08 lbs 3 days total. Think about it, if its a team tournament then multiple that…would be 140 lbs a team! That- can break NBAD record..that’s why I disagree on changing 5 to 3 bass. Something to think about.

Currently, the lake level is 362.5—The TVA projection shows the lake to be just above normal summer pool by Monday.
